Came across a silly little limerick yesterday as told by Brian Cant in an outtake for Orbital’s “Waving Not Drowning” promo. I feel that to deprive you of it would just be wrong. As Paul Daniels might have said; “You’ll like this; not a lot”…
There was a young lady from Bude,
Who went for a swim in the river,
A man with a punt pushed his pole up her nose, and said;
“You can’t swim here it’s dangerous.”
Right back to work.
much in the style of ‘Dinah Dinah show us your leg’ and ‘his name was Nobby All, Nobby All’.

I have no idea what you are talking about but it sounds fun so I’ll go along wth it. It also sounds suitably bawdy so you’ll have to sing the full thing next time I see you, up for it?

matt won’t teach me all the lines of Dinah Dinah. I know enough though to let myself down publicly by singing them should the need arise.
