O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

Filed under: Sports & Leisure — James @ 10:48 am

After dreading the upcoming weekend, knowing that the finest festival of relaxing and divine groovy music in the known world would be in full swing just down the road from me and being unable to afford to attend, Alex has come to the rescue and kindly offered to buy my ticket. This has cheered me up no end by the way and I’ll be sure and let you know how it went. Amongst the highlights will be Aim, Coldcut, Lou Rhodes, Mr Scruff, The Egg and Martha Wainwright. And as if that wasn’t exciting enough The Proclaimers will be stopping by to perform a set aswell. I can hardly wait!

  1. Grr. That does sound awesome. I didn’t think anyone was going this year, else I’d be there in a flash!

  2. I wanna go! I wanna go! Oh wait, I’m 6,000 miles away.

Maybe if I walk 500 miles. And then 500 more.

Nope. I’d still be 5,000 miles away.

America is stupid, and too far away.

  3. Maybe next year I’ll have the money and the time (and the prior organisation) to actually go. Enjoy!

  4. Lig: Hehe, I guess having an American girlfriend would be a real test of the Reid brothers’ devotion, then!

  5. Plus, your feet would be a little damp.

  6. Rob, thanks very much. I plan to, weather permitting.

Lig, I suggest you build an enourmous catapult contraption.

  7. shall we make a date for next year then folks? I’m tired of not being able to do stuff because of lack of fund/organization/communication.

  8. Catapult contraption: good idea. How, though, would I calibrate it to prevent myself from being twanged into a tree?

  9. I suggest the stategic deployment of a girder pack.
